Renee was Michael's sister and my sister-in-law. They were mother and daughter, and the bond between them was something our entire family knew.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn August and September of 2025, we celebrated their birthdays just weeks apart. Renee turned 56 on August 21. Her condition was far more serious than any of us initially understood, and soon our family was called to her side.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt another hospital only about five miles away, Momma was facing the end of her own journey.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe made the difficult decision not to tell either of them what the other was going through. We didn't tell Momma that Renee was dying. And we didn't tell Renee that her mother had decided she was ready to go home to her Heavenly Father.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe sat beside Renee as she passed away on \u003cstrong\u003eSeptember 9, 2025\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThen we went straight to Momma.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eShe knew her time was near. Eventually, she told everyone to leave, and just \u003cstrong\u003e14 hours after her daughter\u003c\/strong\u003e, Momma went home to the Lord on \u003cstrong\u003eSeptember 10, 2025\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMaybe a mother simply knows.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eMaybe a daughter does too.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhatever happened during those fourteen hours is something we'll never completely understand on this side of Heaven. Those pieces are treasures now, not because of what they're made from, but because of \u003cstrong\u003ewho they belonged to\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThat same idea inspired this custom memorial bolo tie.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAt its center is a photograph of \u003cstrong\u003eMomma and Renee together\u003c\/strong\u003e—mother and daughter, side by side again.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt isn't simply a photograph placed inside a bolo tie.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's family.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's memory.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's two birthdays we'll always remember.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's September 9th and September 10th.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt's a mother and daughter separated from us by only fourteen hours—and, through our faith, reunited for eternity.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3\u003eMade to Keep Them Close\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis one was never created to be just another bolo tie.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIt was created so that when we see it, wear it, or someday pass it down to another generation of our family, \u003cstrong\u003eMomma and Renee's story goes with it.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThat's what an heirloom is supposed to do.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe people we love may leave the things they once held in our hands. But more importantly, they leave their stories in our hearts.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAnd sometimes we're blessed with the opportunity to turn a little piece of that story into something we can hold onto.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTogether in life.
