Clarence's Story ~ A Custom Design Bolo Ties

Clarence's Story ~ A Custom Design Bolo Tie

Clarence came to Mike's Custom Bolos looking for something unique—an original bolo tie that reflected his love for Western wear and Western history.

He knew exactly who belonged at the center of it: Buffalo Bill.

But Clarence didn't simply tell us what he wanted. He actually created the centerpiece image himself and brought it to us to help turn his idea into a handcrafted bolo tie. From there, Mike worked with Clarence to transform his artwork into a custom design worthy of becoming the centerpiece of his new Western piece.

The finished bolo tie features a 1.75-inch double-sided silver coin, custom engraving, Clarence's custom-designed Buffalo Bill image, and a silver twisted-rope frame. It rides on 36 inches of matte black braided leather and is finished with 1.77-inch HELIOS polished silver tips for a sharp contrast against the black leather.

Clarence describes himself as "truly an original man" who loves his Western wear—and loves showing it off.

We think this bolo tie fits him perfectly.

And this story isn't quite finished yet… Clarence promised us pictures. 🤠
