The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Story ~ Custom Corporate Lion Logo Bolo Ties began with an unexpected email that quickly turned into one of the largest and most exciting custom projects Mike's Custom Bolos had taken on. The request was for a corporate event and called for 100 individually handcrafted bolo ties featuring the recognizable lion logo engraved into custom silver-tone centerpieces.

Throughout the approximately one-week production process, we worked closely with Kat, who stayed in regular communication with us as the project came together. It was exciting, stressful, challenging, and beautiful all at the same time. Every detail mattered, from the engraved centerpiece designs to the leather and tip selections for the men's and women's versions. The completed order was delivered perfectly on time for the corporate event.

The original order was structured as 50 men's and 50 women's bolo ties. The final completed production mix was 47 men's bolo ties and 53 women's bolo ties, for a total of 100 custom handcrafted pieces. Each bolo tie was created at a unit price of $72.00, making the total custom corporate project $7,200.00.

The lion centerpiece became the defining feature of the design — a symbol of strength, nobility, legacy, and refined style. Paired with black natural braided leather and polished silver hardware, the finished bolo ties balanced corporate elegance with unmistakable Western character. This project showed just how far a custom bolo tie can go beyond individual keepsakes and become part of a larger event, presentation, or branded experience.
